How do I get there?
Wish Con 2026 will be held at St Kilda Town Hall. Please consult our Transportation page (under the schedule) for information on public transport and parking.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
What do I do if I feel unsafe or am being harassed?
Please immediately inform a staff member or a security guard. Wish Con has a zero tolerance policy for harassment.
Can I bring my pets?
Please leave your pets at home! Our venue does not allow animals - except service animals - inside the building.
Do I have to cosplay?
We love cosplayers and encourage people to show off their creativity through cosplay, however it is in no way required for entry.
Can I smoke outside?
Smoking and vaping is not allowed in the venue or on the grass outside. If you would like to smoke during the event, we request that you leave the premises and come back afterwards.
How can I buy tickets?
You can purchase tickets online though our Eventbrite page.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
You can purchase an entry ticket online during the event. Tickets will be available until 4pm on the day of the event.
Do I need to print out my ticket?
We can scan your ticket off of your phone. You are welcome to print your ticket off if you wish, but it is not required.
Does Wish Con accept companion cards?
Yes, we accept companion cards with a paid ticket holder. Please present your companion card when we scan your ticket, and we will provide an additional ticket.
Costume guidelines
Please ensure your cosplay is appropriate for all ages, as Wish Con is an all ages event. We ask that you avoid overly revealing cosplays (if you wouldn't wear it to the beach, please do not wear it here!), and any hateful slogans or logos. Please be advised that a staff member may ask you to cover any offending attire, or to vacate the premises.
Please ensure any masks or facial coverings can be easily removed if requested by staff.
Prop guidelines
Props must be less than 150 cm tall or wide to ensure that, when inside the venue, nobody is inconvenienced. You are welcome to leave larger props outside with friends or family whilst you enter the artist alley or watch the stage.
Strictly no real or replica firearms. If a fluorescent orange tip is not obviously visible, your prop firearm is not allowed. If you are unsure, please adhere to the relevant Victorian law.
Any prop that can fire a projectile is not allowed inside the venue.
Glass props are not allowed.
Metal weapons are not allowed. Other metal props are subject to clearance by security.
Balloons, confetti, smoke machines, and pyrotechnics are prohibited without exemption.
Can I take photos and videos at the event?
Yes! All we ask is if you are filming or photographing cosplayers or artists, please ask them first! If you film or photograph the stage and plan on posting anything online, please ensure you ask the performer for permission before posting anything!
Do you have space for photographers to set up a backdrop?
Unfortunately we do not have space to set up inside the venue, but photographers are more than welcome to set up outside!
Can I livestream at Wish Con?
You cannot livestream within the hall, however you are welcome to stream from outside.
Wish Convention is committed to ensuring that all of our attendees are welcomed and kept safe, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance (including costumes), race, or religion.
We do not tolerate harassment, bullying, or assault of participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate, as Wish Con is an all ages event. Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of the organisers, or authorities may be contacted.
Harassment / Bullying includes, but is not limited to:
offensive verbal or written comments or profanity
audible or visual threats or blackmail
deliberate intimidation, stalking, following (whether in person or online)
harassing / inappropriate photography or recording
sustained disruption of talks or other events, or disturbance to the detriment of others
inappropriate physical contact, or contact that causes pain or injury
unwelcome sexual attention
sexual images or displays in public spaces
making someone fearful through certain behaviours
assault of a physical nature
slander and/or unsubstantiated claims
The definitions of harassment extend to all patrons, performers, exhibitors, contractors, workers, venue staff, and security. Harassment from or towards anyone, anywhere, is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.
In the event of harassment or bullying, Wish Con / Venue Security may take any action they deem appropriate within the scope of the Law. All recorded details of the incident gathered for its reporting (which may include but are not limited to security footage, video playback and photographs, statements from victims and witnesses, etc) will be handed over to the Police if required.
If you are being harassed or bullied or witness harassment or bullying please contact a member of staff (this includes Wish Con staff, venue staff, and security) immediately.
We expect all patrons and participants to follow this Anti-Harassment Code of Conduct at all Wish Con events.
The management of Wish Convention is Wish Con Pty Ltd.
All persons entering the venue do so at their own risk. Patrons must follow all reasonable directions and requests given by venue and Wish Con management, including staff and security.
Management reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject a ticket holder for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance, or annoyance or for failure to comply with reasonable requests. This includes high-risk behaviour to oneself.
Intoxication, aggressive, or anti-social behaviour is unacceptable and will result in ejection from the venue. Those ejected from the venue will not be re-admitted to the event and tickets will not be refunded.
No persons are to engage in any conduct, act towards, or speak to any exhibitor, performer, staff, or other patron in a manner which offends, insults, humiliates, intimidates, threatens, disparages, or vilifies that other person on the basis of that other person’s race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, descent, or national or ethnic origin. Any alleged behaviour resulting in a criminal matter will be forwarded to the appropriate authorities including Victorian or Federal Police, along with any supporting details and/or documents presented to Wish Convention from those reporting and/or those being reported. All persons within the event must abide by the Code of Conduct (see above).
All tickets are general admission entry and seating in front of stage areas is on a ‘first come, first served’ basis unless otherwise noted or signed. Room or venue capacity limits will be enforced and you may be refused entry to a space until such time as that capacity returns to safe levels.
Patrons will not be permitted to bring any glass items or non-approved weapons into the venue. Please see our Cosplay and Weapons Guidelines for further information on approved weapons.
Wish Con is a drug and alcohol-free event. No alcohol or illicit drugs can be brought into and/or consumed within the venue. Persons found doing so will be removed from the event. Smoking is not permitted in the venue or on property directly outside the venue.
All attendees understand that they may be filmed or photographed whilst attending Wish Convention. Upon entry attendees grant permission to Wish Con Pty Ltd, its agents and others working under its authority, to take and to have full and free use of video/photographs containing their image/likeness. It is understood these images may be used for promotional, news, and online/multimedia purposes by and for Wish Convention. Attendees agree that they are not entitled to remuneration, residuals, royalties or any other payment from Wish Con Pty Ltd in respect of their image/likeness or its use. Attendees release, discharge, and hold harmless, Wish Con Pty Ltd and its agents from any and all claims, demands or causes of actions that they may hereafter have by reason of anything contained in the photographs or video.
